Supporters of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., dressed in red and waving banners praising his leadership, gathered on Saturday at the People Power Monument along EDSA in Quezon City.
Reports indicated that the crowd began assembling around 10 a.m., with some attendees stating that the gathering was a demonstration of their support for the administration.
The Quezon City Police Department estimated the crowd size at approximately 1,200 as of Saturday afternoon. To accommodate the event, a portion of White Plains Avenue was closed to motorists.
As of this writing, it remains unclear how long the rally is expected to last.
