Global Physical AI company XPENG officially launched in the Philippines on Friday, unveiling six variants of its X9 and L03 models as it expands its presence in Southeast Asia.
The Philippine launch, held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, introduced additional versions of the two models following the earlier announcement of their flagship variants. Prices across the lineup start at ₱1.548 million.
Around 3,000 guests, including members of the media, content creators, automotive industry executives, dealer and banking partners, and the public, attended the event, which also showcased XPENG technologies beyond electric vehicles.
Actress and television host Anne Curtis was formally introduced as XPENG Philippines’ official brand ambassador during the launch.
XPENG also displayed its X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot, highlighting the company’s broader development of Physical AI technologies.
X9 Flagship MPV Starts at ₱3.858 Million
The XPENG X9, the company’s flagship seven-seat electric MPV, will be offered in two Long Range variants.
The X9 Long Range is priced at ₱3.858 million, while the X9 Long Range with Second Row Premium Seat Package costs ₱4.058 million.
The Premium Seat Package provides four-way powered headrest adjustment and 16-point massage functions for second-row passengers. The standard Long Range model instead features Zero-Gravity seats separated by a central aisle, providing easier access between the second and third rows.
Both variants feature active rear-wheel steering, giving the large MPV a turning radius of 5.4 meters. They are also equipped with intelligent dual-chamber air suspension and a powered third row that can fold beneath the floor to increase cargo capacity.
Power comes from a front-wheel-drive electric system producing 235 kW and 450 Nm of torque. A 110 kWh battery provides up to 615 kilometers of claimed driving range.
XPENG said the X9 can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 12 minutes when using a compatible DC fast charger under optimal conditions.
The X9 will be offered in Midnight Black, Arctic White and Matte Gray, while Silver Frost will be available by special order. Meteorite Black is the standard interior, with Coffee also available by special order.
L03 Offered in EV and Range-Extended Versions
The XPENG L03, described by the company as a next-generation AI SUV coupé, will be available in four variants, including three battery-electric vehicles and one range-extended electric vehicle or REEV.
The L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra is priced at ₱2.058 million, followed by the EV Long Range at ₱1.698 million, REEV at ₱1.598 million and EV Standard Range at ₱1.548 million.
The Long Range Ultra uses a 71.1 kWh battery with a claimed range of up to 480 kilometers. It also adds front-seat massage functions, an upgraded sound system and additional intelligent driving hardware.
The EV Long Range uses the same 71.1 kWh battery but offers a claimed range of up to 520 kilometers, while the Standard Range uses a smaller 58.3 kWh battery and can travel up to 445 kilometers.
For buyers looking for longer-distance flexibility, the L03 REEV combines a 37.2 kWh battery with an onboard gasoline engine that generates electricity rather than directly driving the wheels.
XPENG claims the REEV can travel up to 215 kilometers using battery power alone and achieve a combined WLTP range of as much as 1,017 kilometers when the range extender is used.
All four L03 variants use an electric motor driving the rear wheels. XPENG said charging from 10% to 80% takes approximately 20 minutes with a compatible DC fast charger under optimal conditions.
The five-seat L03 also features 539 liters of rear luggage capacity, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and XPENG’s suite of driver assistance and safety technologies.
Available exterior colors include Arctic White, Midnight Black, Rock Gray, Silver Frost and Phantom Purple, paired with a Dark Gray interior.
Warranty and Ownership Packages
XPENG is also introducing ownership packages covering preventive maintenance, roadside assistance, vehicle warranties and charging equipment.
X9 buyers will receive five years of free preventive maintenance and roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and an eight-year warranty covering the battery and electric motor. A 7 kW wall charger is also included.
L03 buyers receive two years of free preventive maintenance, five years of roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and an eight-year battery and electric motor warranty.
Battery-electric L03 variants include a 7 kW wall charger, while the REEV comes with a 3.5 kW portable charger.
Reservations are now being accepted with a ₱25,000 fee for the X9 and ₱10,000 for the L03. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, although availability will depend on the model, variant, color and dealer allocation.
Reservations may also be made through XPENG dealerships in Greenhills, Makati, North EDSA and Cebu, with more locations expected as the company expands its Philippine sales and service network.
XPENG develops AI-powered electric vehicles and other intelligent machines designed to perceive and interact with the physical world. More than 40% of its workforce is dedicated to research and development in artificial intelligence, software, robotics and advanced mobility.
The company said it had established a presence in 60 countries and regions by the end of 2025, while cumulative global vehicle deliveries surpassed 1.2 million as of July 31, 2026.
XPENG Philippines is a direct subsidiary of XPENG and the company’s first subsidiary in Southeast Asia.
