A LAWYER that he is, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque is not inclined on the idea of presenting to the public documents that would prove that he has indeed contracted the deadly virus from Wuhan, China.

In an interview on live-stream, Roque said that his COVID-19 test result is covered by privacy.

“Well, that’s covered by privacy. Why can’t public officials, such as the Presidential Spokesperson, be entitled to presumption of regularity of pronouncements? Being positive is not a badge of honor. I stayed in an isolation facility. Would I do that if I was not positive?” Roque was quoted as saying during the interview.

Roque, who claims to have been tested and found positive for COVID-19 last week, also reiterated that he didn’t stay at a luxury hotel in Pasay City but went on isolation in a hotel facility in San Juan City.

“I wish. I stayed at a 2-star hotel along Annapolis,” added Roque who is already on his eighth day of isolation, and said he is “going bonkers” and is “dying to reach the 10th day.”
