PNP steps up security at the National Museum for Marcos inauguration

THE Philippine National Police (PNP) is going full blast in its security preparations for the upcoming inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

This was announced by PNP Public Information Office chief Police Brigadier General Roderick Alba after the authorities conducted an inspection of the historic National Museum in Manila where Marcos will take his oath of office as the country’s 17th president on June 30, 2022.

Alba said the PNP will ensure security within the perimeter of the museum and other areas where the President-elect will pass.

The public can rest assured that there will be proper coordination with the organizers to ensure the safety and security of the President-elect and other inauguration attendees.
