THE number of active cases in the Philippine National Police (PNP) now down to only 34 cases.
According to the PNP Health Service, only five new cases were recorded yesterday while four PNP personnel were able to recover.
It can be recalled that the number of COVID-19 active cases in the PNP jumped to 3, 000 last September.
From the start of the pandemic, 42,216 PNP personnel contracted the disease, with a total of 125 fatalities.
It was learned that the 99-percent vaccination rate among PNP personnel was a huge factor in the decline of COVID-19 cases among PNP personnel.
