McDonald’s Philippines is giving Korean food lovers more reasons to indulge with the return of its Taste of Korea menu, featuring four limited-time offerings inspired by popular Korean flavors.
Launched this month, the lineup includes the Yangnyeom McSpicy, Yangnyeom Double Cheeseburger, Galbi McShaker Fries, and K-Melon Float, building on the excitement generated by the recent McSpicy x G-DRAGON collaboration.
The Yangnyeom McSpicy and Double Cheeseburger feature a creamy, sweet, and spicy Korean-style sauce, while the Galbi McShaker Fries bring a smoky, savory twist to the fast-food chain’s signature fries. Completing the menu is the K-Melon Float, a Sprite-based drink inspired by the popular Korean melon ice cream Melona.
Beyond food, McDonald’s is tapping into the popularity of Korean entertainment with The Plus One, a new microdrama following three friends caught in a humorous competition for a coveted trip to South Korea.
According to McDonald’s Philippines Brand Manager Karl Christian Chua, the campaign reflects the growing Filipino enthusiasm for Korean cuisine and entertainment, combining familiar menu favorites with new flavors and storytelling.
Customers can also enjoy exclusive McDo App deals, including a Yangnyeom McSpicy for P199 or a Yangnyeom Double Cheeseburger for P169, each with a free Large Sprite.
The Taste of Korea menu is available for a limited time through dine-in, takeout, drive-thru, and participating delivery platforms.
