Five suspected drug pushers were arrested and more than P8 million worth of dried marijuana leaves were seized in a drug sting in the City of Malolos yesterday afternoon.
The anti-illegal drug operation was conducted by joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office III (PDEA RO III), Bulacan Provincial Police Office (PPO), and Malolos City Police Station.
Christian Frivaldo, PDEA RO III Regional Director, identified the suspects as John Patrick Milan alias “Wang,” Kevin Paul Jose: Mispa Jamsen, Jayson Justiniano and Enrick Justin, who are believed to be among the major suppliers of marijuana in the province of Bulacan and nearby towns of Pampanga.
Investigation showed that the said suspects were collared around 2:30 pm at No. 2B 920, Barangay Look 1st in the City of Malolos during a buy-bust operation.
Authorities seized from the five suspects more or less 68 kilos of dried marijuana leaves with a street value of P8,160,000.00, a cellular phone, a weighing scale and marked money.
The five are facing charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
