LBC Express has partnered with Philippine e-commerce platform Menue to streamline shipping and order fulfillment for online sellers, integrating shipment booking, shipping fee calculations, box selection, and waybill generation directly into online storefronts.
The integration aims to reduce the manual processes involved in fulfilling online orders, allowing merchants to manage shipping arrangements without switching between multiple platforms or calculating delivery charges separately.
Under the partnership, LBC shipping services are built directly into Menue-powered online stores. The system automatically determines the appropriate LBC box size and calculates shipping fees based on the logistics company’s prevailing rates in the Philippines.
Customers can view the applicable shipping charges during checkout, while sellers can automatically generate shipment bookings and printable LBC waybills once an order is confirmed.
The process enables merchants to handle order fulfillment through a single interface, reducing administrative work and helping prepare parcels for delivery more efficiently.
“Online sellers ship with LBC every day, and we want to make that experience even easier. Working with Menue brings LBC online booking, shipping fees, and waybills into their own online stores, so orders can come to LBC already booked and ready to ship,” said Jerome Santos, Executive Vice President for Corporate Sales of LBC Express.
For Menue, the partnership addresses common challenges faced by small businesses and independent online merchants, particularly those that manually calculate shipping costs, select packaging, and prepare delivery documentation for each transaction.
“Sellers were preparing every LBC parcel themselves and working out the shipping fee for each customer with the LBC rates calculator. Now their own store handles the LBC booking, box, waybill, and fee the moment the customer checks out. That is what an e-commerce platform built for the Philippines should do,” said Khaled Nakawa, Director of Menue.
The integration also provides merchants with greater visibility over shipping costs before transactions are completed, potentially reducing errors in delivery fee calculations and simplifying the purchasing experience for customers.
Beyond its logistics integration, Menue offers businesses the ability to establish their own branded online stores without relying exclusively on third-party marketplaces.
The platform supports several payment methods commonly used by Filipino consumers, including GCash, Maya, QR Ph, and credit and debit cards. It also offers a zero-commission model on sales, with subscription plans starting at PHP 1,200 per month.
Among the businesses using the platform is Aldimashqi Grocery, a dry goods retailer that fulfills orders outside Metro Manila through LBC Express.
Through the integration, the retailer can manage customer purchases and shipping arrangements within the same system, eliminating the need to process LBC shipments separately.
The partnership comes as online merchants increasingly seek integrated digital solutions to manage storefront operations, payment processing, and logistics.
For smaller businesses, automating routine fulfillment tasks can help reduce administrative workloads and allow merchants to devote more time to inventory management, customer service, and business expansion.
By bringing logistics services directly into the online checkout and order management process, LBC Express and Menue aim to make shipping more accessible and convenient for Philippine businesses seeking to expand their online operations.
