THE government will implement vaccination activities in school for children 5-11 years old., where vaccination sites will be placed in schools around the country that are currently face-to-face classes.

In the Talk to the People of President Rodrigo Duterte, Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III said that this is one way to increase the level of vaccination in more areas and to bring the vaccines in the areas where kids can already be vaccinated.

Duque said they have already sent details of this plan to Department of Education Secrertary Leonor Briones, and everything is being prepared for its implementation in the soonest possible time.

Meanwhile, testing czar Sec. Vince Dizon said there are 10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines that they can send to all schools in different parts of the country.
