TWO individuals, including a minor, were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Quezon City.
The suspects were arrested by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) operatives from the Galas Police Station along Victory Ave. and Quezon Ave., Brgy. Tatalon, Quezon City.
The operatives, under P/Lt. Col. Glenn Gonzales, identified the suspects as Lenard Ilustre and the 17-year-old boy whose name was not divulged.
Recovered from the suspects were a paper bag that contained one marijuana brick wrapped in transparent plastic, with an estimated weight of 500 grams with standard drug price of P60,000 and buy-bust money.
Ilustre is under detention at the Quezon City Police District Galas Police Station 11 jail facility, while the minor was turned over to the Quezon City social welfare office.
The suspects face charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
