THE Transparency Media Server (TMS) will be slowly pulled out of the University of Santo Tomas.
In a radio interview, Commission on Elections (Comelec) spokesperson Atty. John Rex Laudiangco said they have already completed backing up the data that went into the TMS.
This was done in front of representatives from the different political parties, accredited citizens’ arm and accredited media organizations, under the supervision of the poll body’s Education and Information Division (EID).
He explained that the backing up of data of the TMS for this year’s elections is important, and the data will become part of the permanent records of the Comelec.
And just in case that an election protest will be filed for example with the Presidential Electoral Tribunal and the Comelec is subpoenaed and data from the TMS is required, the poll body is ready to comply with the order.
