The Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) arrested their no. 13 wanted person in Camarines Norte.
Suspect Esrom Paming, 26, businessman from Paracale town, Camarines Norte, was arrested by elements of Lopez Municipal Police, Highway Patrol Group (HPG), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Provincial Intelligence Unit from Quezon Provincial Police Office (QPPO) with the coordination from the Paracale Municipal Police of the Camarines Sur Provincial Police, while attending to his daily shop operation in his residence at Purok 3, Barangay Tabas about 3:00 in the afternoon on Friday, October 16, 2020.
Authorities served the warrant of arrest to Paming accused for Violation of Republic Act 10883 or the New Carnapping Act of 2016 issued and signed by Judge Manuel G. Salumbides of Regional Trial Court Branch 63 Calauag, Quezon.
According to Police Col. Audie Madrideo, Quezon Provincial Police Office (QPPO) Director, Paming’s arrest originated from a carnapping incident that transpired last September 23, 2019.
A certain victim gave P1.5million cash to Paming and his cohorts as payment for a white Ford Ranger Raptor that they sold but suspects managed to borrowed the car from the victim and claimed to buy something in the market but did not returned.
Suspect is now at the Custodial Facility of Lopez Municipal Police Station with no bail recommendation for his crime.
