Quezon City — The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has emerged as the top performer in the National Capital Region Police Office’s (NCRPO) Manhunt Charlie Operations, recording a total of 589 arrests from June 28 to August 22, 2025.
QCPD, led by District Director for Administration and Officer-in-Charge PCOL Randy Glenn Silvio, achieved the highest number of arrests among Metro Manila police districts.
The operations netted 327 Other Wanted Persons (OWPs) and 262 Most Wanted Persons (MWPs).
The accomplishment was credited to the district’s intensified “Warrant Day” initiative conducted every Friday, which Silvio described as one of QCPD’s best practices in apprehending wanted individuals.
“This achievement highlights the effectiveness of QCPD’s intensified ‘Warrant Day’ strategy, aligned with the directives of the CPNP and RD, NCRPO to rid the streets of criminals,” Silvio said.
He also acknowledged the support of Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte in sustaining anti-criminality programs.
Authorities urged the public to help in the continuing campaign against wanted persons by reporting information through 911 or the QC Helpline 122 for immediate police action.
