NO less than the Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Camilo Cascolan himself commended the police officers from Angeles City in Pampanga for a job well done.
Cascolan extolled the cops after their video went viral on social media for the arrest of L.A. Abegail Jabel and Cheng Li who attempted to bribe police officers manning the quarantine checkpoint for them to pass the quarantine checkpoint after failing to present their travel pass last September 25, 2020.
Among the awardees include: Police Lieutenant Romulus Ramos, Police Staff Sergeant Argel Cabote, Police Corporal Eric Sapnu and Patrolman Irish Petiza.
“This goes to show that the PNP is quick in giving rewards to deserving personnel and acknowledge their notable deeds, but we are also swift and decisive in punishing the misfits and the undisciplined,” said PRO3 Regional Director Police Brigadier Gen Rhodel Sermonia.
