Cleaner and more orderly police stations were what caught Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Guillmero Lorenzo Eleazar’s eye as he made the rounds of several police stations during a surprise inspection on Sunday.
Eight police stations in the cities of Pasay, Parañaque, Taguig and Manila were covered by PGen. Eleazar’s inspection.
“Sa walong istasyon na ating binisita, nakita natin na malilinis at may pagbabago,” Eleazar said.
Since he assumed command of the PNP, Eleazar laid down the Intensified Cleanliness Policy which aimed to correct minor problems in the police force such as the dirty surroundings in some precincts and police stations.
Eleazar added that this policy also aimed at instilling discipline among police officers and officials.
Eleazar also alerted other police stations that he will continue to conduct surprise inspections of police offices and must be ready for it.
