CAMP VICENTE LIM, Calamba City, Laguna – Police Brig. General Vicente Danao Jr., is now the new Metro Manila’s top cop replacing Police Major General Debold Sinas who was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as the 25th Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Sinas became the newly installed chief of the country’s police force following the retirement of General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan on November 10.
Prior to his appointment, Danao was the regional director of the Police Regional Office 4A.
Danao emphasized that if Voltes V (refers to Sinas) has the term “Lets volt in”, he in turn delivered an immediate warning to convey to his new turf, “If you do not work with me, the door is always open for you to leave”.
“I am grateful for all the help you have given because we have achieved the best regional office nationwide, despite pandemic and Taal eruption, we have reached our only goal, our legacy and accomplishments will be maintained”.
Danao was succeeded by Police Brigadier General Felipe Natividad.
