A MOTORCYCLE rider was dead after being gunned down by riding-in-tandem hitmen along Marcos Highway in Brgy. Inarawan, Antipolo City, Rizal at around 8:40 a.m.
According to Police Lt. Col. Jun Abrazado, Antipolo Police chief, the victim was cruising along the westbound lane of Marcos Highway when the motorcycle-riding suspects rode alongside and shot the victim just outside the St. Anthony de Padua Parish.
Not less than three gunshot wounds hit the victim who remains to be unidentified.
The area was immediately cordoned off for a quick processing of the victim’s body.
Investigation by the police continues while they are securing CCTV footage around the area where the shooting occurred.
