UPANG lalo pang mapaganda ang serbisyo pagdating sa migration management, pumirma ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ang Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) at Bureau of Immigration (BI) ng Shared Government Information System on Migration.
Layon ng MOA na maibigay ang mas simple at mabisang pag-aayos, pangongolekta, beripikasyon at pagbibigay ng impormasyon o datos na kakailanganin ng CFO at BI.
Sa pamamagitan ng nasabing sistema at real-time data sharing, ang serbisyo ay mapapabilis at mababawasan ang illegal recruitment, human trafficking, at irregular na migration incidents sa Pilipinas.
“The signing of this Memorandum of Agreement reinforces our commitment to providing streamlined and efficient services to the public while safeguarding the rights and welfare of our fellow Filipinos,” ayon kay BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco. “By integrating our systems and sharing real-time data, we can effectively respond to the challenges posed by migration,” dagdag pa nito.
Ang pirmahan ng MOA ay isinagawa sa tanggapan ng BI sa Intramuros, Maynila sa pagitan nina CFO Secretary Romulo Arugay at Tansingco.
