Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos inspects vaccination centers

To ensure that vaccination procedures are in order, Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos today inspected the ongoing mass vaccination of medical frontliners at the city’s three vaccination centers.

She also inspected the sites’ readiness to conduct the vaccination of the next priority sector, which are senior citizens 60 years old and above,

Mayor Abalos conducted the inspection of the three vaccination sites located at Pedro P. Cruz Elementary School, Hulo Integrated School, and Isaac Lopez Integrated School together with Mandaluyong City Health Officer Dr. Alex Sta. Maria.

The medical frontliners, all vaccinated using the AstraZeneca vaccines, were doctors and nurses from barangay health centers and private clinics in the city.

Mayor Abalos said the city government has already vaccinated over 4,000 medical frontliners from the Mandaluyong City Medical Center (MCMC), National Center for Mental Health (NCMH), and other private hospital and medical facilities located in the city.

Mayor Abalos also donated one LED display to each school during her inspection, which the schools can use to display any information campaign materials about COVID-19.
