MALACAÑANG announced Thursday that it will be opening its grounds to allow local performing artists stage their talent during the upcoming “Konsyerto sa Palasyo” or KSP starting on the evening of April 22, 2023.

In a Facebook post, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) emphasized that the move to launch KSP is part of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s initiative to highlight the value of the country’s creative industry.

Malacañang offers the concert series to acknowledge the Philippine military’s effort in maintaining the sovereignty and security across the country. Thus, it anticipates the members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) together with their relatives to be the first guests of the show.

Also included in the list of performers who are expected to showcase their talent are singers, instrumentalists, dancers and movement artists, rappers, spoken word artists, rock vocalists, theater artists, beatbox artists, and many more.

On April 22, local performers from Cebu, Ilocos Norte, Quezon, Cavite, Iloilo, Metro Manila and Davao will grace the Palace with their performance.

The public may access the event via livestream through Facebook on Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM), Office of the President, and President Marcos’ official page.

It will be spearheaded by the Office of the President (OP), PCO, Social Secretary’s Office (SOSEC) and Presidential Broadcast Staff – Radio Television Malacañang (PBS-RTVM)
