LBC Express, the Philippines’ leading logistics and courier company, is embarking on a new chapter as it marks the retirement of President and Chief Executive Officer Mike A. Camahort. After 16 years of service, Camahort steps down leaving behind a legacy of resilience, innovation, and growth that reshaped the company and its role in the lives of millions of Filipinos worldwide.
Camahort joined LBC in 2009 and quickly became a driving force behind its transformation. Under his leadership, the company achieved nationwide ISO 9001:2015 certifications, reinforcing its reputation as the Philippines’ most reliable logistics partner. His vision guided LBC to new heights, strengthening its core services while expanding into new markets.
Among his key achievements was the global expansion of LBC in 2018 through overseas acquisitions, a move that extended the company’s reach to the growing population of Filipinos abroad. He also championed e-commerce logistics through pioneering Cash on Delivery (COD) and Cash on Pick-up (COP) services, which empowered small businesses and online sellers to thrive.
Camahort’s leadership was also tested during the COVID-19 pandemic. By driving digital transformation initiatives, he ensured uninterrupted services for Filipinos despite mobility restrictions. These efforts not only sustained LBC’s operations but also helped communities and enterprises stay connected at a time of global uncertainty.
One of his enduring contributions is the establishment and rapid growth of LBC’s Corporate Solutions division. Designed to serve enterprises, government agencies, and large corporations, this business-to-business arm has since become a major revenue driver. It solidified LBC’s dual identity as both a trusted household brand and a strategic partner for industry leaders.
As the company celebrates its 75th anniversary, LBC is also embracing renewal. Effective 01 October 2025, Enrique V. Rey Jr. will take over as President and CEO. With extensive experience in business strategy and transformation, Rey is expected to steer LBC into its next phase of innovation and global competitiveness.
He will be supported by Rosalie H. Infantado as Chief Financial Officer, recognized for her strong financial governance, and Rene E. Fuentes as Chairman of the Board, who has spearheaded efficiency and innovation across LBC’s international operations.
The new leadership team inherits a company built on decades of trust, and their shared goal is to strengthen LBC’s position as the preferred logistics partner of Filipinos both at home and abroad. Their commitment echoes LBC’s long-standing mission: to move lives, businesses, and communities with care.
