A TRICYCLE driver died instantly while his passenger was injured when a tricycle allegedly got out of its lane and hit head-on an incoming tanker trailer truck along JASA Road, Sta. Isabel, Dinalupihan, Bataan, Saturday night.
The impact resulted to an explosion that burned the tricycle instantly. A team of rescue and medic unit immediately responded to the accident site along with the local police.
The road crash was confirmed by Dinalupihan Police headed by Police Lt. Col. Emelito Dela Cruz and identified the fatality as Jeric Soriano.
Meanwhile, passenger Ian John Muli, as of press time, was still in critical condition in a local hospital. Both are residents of Barangay Culis, Hermosa, Bataan.
The tanker truck driver was held in custody by the Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station.
