FORMER Philippine president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III passed away today.
He was 61 years old.
The former president was rushed to the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City early this morning.
He was reportedly having problems with his kidney since he is undergoing dialysis at the time of his death.
He was also reported to have lung problems since he was seen as a frequent smoker.
He is the only son of democracy icons Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. and former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino and sister to media personality Kris Aquino.
