MORE individuals were added to the list of arrested election gun ban violators.
Data from the Philippine National Police (PNP) as of 6 am today, January 14, 2022, revealed that 86 election gun ban violators have already been arrested.
Those arrested were in Taguig City, Sorsogon, Davao de Oro, La Union, Bulacan, Danao City, Abra, Negros Occidental, Nueva Ecija and Quezon province.
The PNP added that they have already set up a total of 18, 978 checkpoints starting January 9, 2022.
The election gun ban will be in effect up to June 8, 2022.
