THE city government of Manila continued its COVID-19 vaccination activities today, July 1, 2022.

This came after the suspension of the vaccination drive in order to give way to the inauguration activities of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

The administration of first booster doses for children aged 12-17 who are not immunocompromised were done in the city’s 44 health centers and four shopping malls.

On the other hand, the vaccination for immunocompromised individuals were done in the city’s six district hospitals.

Those considered as immunocompromised are those with cancer, underwent organ transplant, those given steroids as part of medication, bedridden patients, those with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and certified as immunocompromised by a physician.
