CALAMBA Medical Center (CMC) has inaugurated its first Ambulatory Care Center at the Light Industry and Science Park I (LISP I), a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility for the local workforce and community.
The facility highlights CMC’s steadfast commitment to the health and well-being of the region, particularly within LISP I, a key industrial hub established in 1991. The park hosts 88 companies and employs approximately 27,000 workers, with notable tenants such as Procter & Gamble, Nexperia, and First Sumiden.
The blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on December 6, 2024. During the event, CMC President and CEO Atty. Pilar Nenuca P. Almira expressed her enthusiasm for the new facility:
“The opening of our Ambulatory Care Center is a testament to our dedication to the community’s health. We are thrilled to offer quality medical services right here in the heart of the industrial park.”
Mr. Marcial Caluag, LISP I Administrator, welcomed the partnership, emphasizing the center’s importance in bolstering the industrial park’s development. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. Lito Mondok, Chairman and President of the Board of Governors of LISP I, and Mr. Enrique Sonoy, President and CEO of Excellitas and Secretary of the LISP I Board of Governors.
The Ambulatory Care Center is designed to provide comprehensive outpatient services, ensuring that workers and residents have convenient access to quality healthcare. It aims to promote wellness, early detection, and preventive care, aligning with CMC’s vision of improving healthcare for the region’s workforce.
