A MEMBER of the notorious Berto carnapping group was arrested by authorities in Taguig City.
This came after the successful serving of a Warrant of Arrest against the suspect, who was located along M.L. Quezon St., Brgy. Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.
According to Police Colonel Celso Rodriguez, Taguig City police chief, the arrested suspect was identified as Nestor Polles, 29 years old.
Investigation showed that aside from carnapping, the suspect is also involved in robbery-holdup and illegal drug trade activities in Taguig and Muntinlupa cities.
Rodriguez said they have already collared seven members of the notorious group and they are still tracking down the group’s leader.
