K-Logistikus Opens Bicol Crossdock Hub to Boost Regional Distribution

K-Logistikus Philippines has expanded its nationwide logistics network with the opening of a new Bicol Crossdock Hub in Tabaco City, Albay, strengthening the movement of goods across the Bicol Region.

The 1,500-square-meter facility, strategically located along the Tabaco-Ligao Road, serves as a distribution gateway for Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, Catanduanes and Masbate. It can handle up to 20 outbound trucks daily and is positioned near major retail centers and transport routes to support faster distribution of fast-moving consumer goods and improve access to nearby island provinces.

“Bicol is an important growth corridor, and strengthening our presence in the region allows us to better support the evolving needs of businesses and the communities they serve,” said Sulficio O. Tagud Jr., president and CEO of K-Logistikus Philippines.

Tagud said the new hub will bring products closer to key markets, reduce delivery lead times and enable the company to respond more quickly to changes in customer demand.

Operated by K-Logistikus’ Contract Logistics and Crossdock teams, the facility streamlines cargo handling, inventory movement and distribution from inbound receipt to final delivery. By positioning inventory closer to customers, the hub is expected to shorten replenishment cycles, optimize delivery schedules and improve operational and cost efficiency for businesses.

The Bicol Crossdock Hub forms part of K-Logistikus’ broader nationwide expansion strategy, with the company investing in logistics infrastructure aimed at building more resilient supply chains while supporting economic activity in regional growth corridors.
