DITO BizBayan, GCash for Business Unveil Bundled Connectivity and Digital Payment Solution for MSMEs

DITO BizBayan and GCash for Business have partnered to introduce the DITO WoWFi Optima + GCash for Business bundle, an integrated solution designed to help Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) improve operational efficiency through reliable internet connectivity and seamless digital payments.

The new offering combines DITO’s 5G-powered WoWFi Optima with GCash SoundPay, which provides real-time audio confirmation of successful payment transactions. The bundle also gives merchants exclusive access to a lower merchant discount rate (MDR) on GCash for Business with every purchase of a DITO WoWFi Optima device.

With GCash SoundPay, merchants receive audible notifications for completed transactions, enabling them to instantly verify payments without checking their mobile devices. DITO said the integrated solution is aimed at simplifying day-to-day business operations by combining stable connectivity with digital payment capabilities.

“At DITO, we’re bringing together connectivity, digital services, and strategic partners to create solutions that help Filipino businesses operate, transact, and grow more effectively. Our partnership with GCash for Business is another step in building an ecosystem where MSMEs have access to the tools they need to succeed in a digital-first economy,” said DITO Telecommunity Chief Commercial Officer Atty. Adel Tamano.

Gabby Cui, Head of DITO BizBayan, said the partnership seeks to make digital transformation more practical and accessible for entrepreneurs. “Through this partnership with GCash for Business, we’re helping MSMEs serve customers faster and operate with greater confidence through reliable connectivity and better payment solutions,” he said.

DITO BizBayan showcased the new bundle through an experiential media launch that allowed guests to make actual purchases using WoWFi Optima and GCash SoundPay instead of a traditional product demonstration. The event venue was transformed into an MSME marketplace in partnership with South Trading Post, where 20 local merchants displayed their products while using the integrated solution for digital transactions.

According to DITO, the initiative highlights its commitment to expanding digital solutions for MSMEs beyond connectivity by collaborating with partners such as GCash for Business and South Trading Post. The company said the partnership aims to equip Filipino businesses with practical tools to operate more efficiently and grow in the country’s expanding digital economy.
