Bambu Lab Opens First Authorized Store in PH at SM Megamall

Filipino technology enthusiasts, creators, students and hobbyists now have a dedicated space to experience 3D printing technology, following the opening of Bambu Lab’s first authorized store in the Philippines at SM Megamall.

The store, operated by Uni3DLab, Bambu Lab’s authorized Philippine distributor, is located on the fourth floor of Cyberzone, Building B, SM Megamall.

While Bambu Lab products have already been available locally through authorized distributors and retail channels, the new store brings the company’s 3D printers, printing materials, accessories and finished creations together in a physical retail space where customers can also see selected machines in operation.

The store is designed to make desktop 3D printing more accessible to consumers who may have previously encountered the technology mainly through online product listings, technical specifications and videos.

Visitors can compare different Bambu Lab printer models and configurations, examine filament options and finished 3D prints, and speak with Uni3DLab personnel about the technology and its potential applications.

Live demonstrations are also a key part of the store experience, allowing visitors to observe how a digital 3D model is transformed into a physical object layer by layer.

The demonstrations are intended to give prospective users a better understanding of the printing process and help them evaluate factors such as printer size, materials, machine configurations and possible applications before purchasing a unit.

Desktop 3D printers can be used for a wide range of applications, including prototypes, educational models, collectibles, organizers, replacement parts and other functional or creative projects.

The store also showcases Bambu Lab’s wider ecosystem, including compatible filaments and accessories as well as MakerWorld, the company’s online platform offering downloadable 3D models. The platform allows users to find models that can be printed without having to create their own designs from scratch.

“We want more Filipinos to see 3D printing as something they can actually use and enjoy, rather than something that feels too technical or specialized,” said David Wei, a representative of Uni3DLab.

“Having a dedicated Bambu Lab Authorized Store at SM Megamall gives customers a chance to see the machines in action, compare different options in person, and understand how 3D printing can support both creative ideas and practical everyday projects,” Wei added.

According to Uni3DLab, the physical store also provides first-time users with a place to ask questions and familiarize themselves with 3D printing before deciding which machine best suits their needs.

The Bambu Lab Authorized Store at SM Megamall is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
