THE Department of Health (DOH) reported that the average daily cases of COVID-19 in the country reached 2,091 or about 14,640 total from July 11 up to July 17, 2022.
The DOH said this is higher by 44 percent compared to the number of cases from July 4 up to July 10.
Meanwhile, there were around 589 COVID-19 patients yesterday experiencing severe and critical conditions that were admitted in hospitals.
About 18.3 percent of ICU beds or 481 out of 2,630 are occupied, while 23.8 percent of the 21,809 non ICU COVID-19 beds are currently being utilized by COVID-19 patients.
