THE Philippine National Police (PNP) said it already has three Persons of Interest in the Bukidnon shooting.
The shooting incident happened while presidential candidate Leody de Guzman was having a meeting with members of the Manobo tribe in Bukidnon.
According to PNP Spokesperson Police Col. Jean Fajardo, after the incident last April 19, the PNP’s forensics team immediately went to the area to gather evidence.
The police confiscated the firearms of the plantation’s security personnel, which include eight shotguns, two 9 mm pistols and a 38-caliber revolver.
The confiscated firearms will undergo gun powder examination to determine if they have been used to fire gunshots.
