IT seems the end is not yet in sight when it comes to the successive price spikes in petroleum products in the country.
Projections by Unioil Petroleum Philippines estimates diesel prices to hit P12.20 to P12.30 per liter, while gasoline may reach highs of P6.80 to P7 per liter this week.
If it happens, it will be the 11th straight week of price surges for petroleum products.
These price projections were based on the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) oil trading data.
Usual announcements of oil price adjustments are usually made every Monday, to be implemented the following day.
