A HISTORIC Sisterhood Agreement was signed recently between the City of Mandaluyong and the Municipality of Hermosa in Bataan.
The objective of this agreement is to further strengthen the relationship and bond between Hermosa and Mandaluyong City that would allow mutual support and cooperation to prosper in the areas of economy, tourism, agriculture, health and other sectors.
The signing of the agreement was made betwen Mandaluyong City Mayor Carmelita “Menchie” Abalos and Hermosa Mayor Hon. Antonio Joseph “Jopet” Inton.
Mayor Inton said the agreement will also strengthen the exchange of Best Practices between the two local government units (LGUs) that will enable both LGUs to provide better services to their constituents.
Also part of this significant event are Mandaluyong City Vice Mayor Anthony Suva and other officials of Mandaluyong City, members of the Sangguniang Bayan such as Councilors Luz Jorge Samaniego, Sonjie Valencia, Floyd Tungol, Reggie Santos, Jenna Basi, Lou Narciso, Association of Barangay Councils (ABC) President Roberto Rosel, Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Hermosa President Bea Lim, Ka. Bonifacio Florentino, and department heads from the town of Hermosa.
