THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Department of Health (DOH) joined hands today to oversee the inoculation drive held today at the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Manila.
The vaccination event in Manila was part of the fourth round of the nationwide “Bayanihan, Bakunahan” vaccination drive by the national government.
On hand to supervise the event were new MMDA Chairman Romando Artes and Department of Health-National Capital Region (DOH-NCR) Regional Director Dr. Gloria Balboa.
Artes said they will deploy additional vaccinators at the vaccination site located in front of Quiapo Church.
Balboa, on the other hand, said the vaccination drive in Quiapo Church is scheduled every Friday and will target inoculating 500 individuals per day, whether for first, second or booster doses.
