A NEW vaccine focused on addressing the effects of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is already in development.
Father Nic Austriaco, a renowned molecular biologist, said the development of the new vaccine was based on the Wuhan strain of COVID-19.
He said it was already studied in Israel that no matter how many booster doses are done, it will not provide absolute protection against the Omicron variant.
According to Father Austriaco, vaccines that can provide a higher level of protection against the Omicron variant is already being developed.
The two vaccines, he said, will help increase the level of protection against two different strains of SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19.
