Xpress, a new ridesharing app backed by Cebuana Lhuillier, was officially launched today in Makati City and promises to transform urban transportation in Metro Manila. The app offers motorcycle (Moto) and car (Sedan) options, aiming to provide a seamless booking experience, competitive rates, and high service quality.
Key features include the Scan & Ride function, which allows passengers to book rides instantly using QR codes, and options for scheduled and recurring bookings. Xpress is expanding its partnerships with local government units (LGUs) to enhance transportation services in Boracay, El Nido, and other locations.
Jean Lhuillier, Chairman of Xpress, expressed excitement about the launch, highlighting the company’s focus on technology and community support. The “Ride for Xpress” program offers driver partners training in road safety, customer service, and entrepreneurship, while the Emergency Response Team (ERT) ensures safety during emergencies.
In line with sustainability goals, Xpress plans to introduce a fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles. Cliff Cabungcal, President of Xpress, emphasized the app’s vision to create a comprehensive digital ecosystem integrating transportation, domestic travel, activity booking, and digital payments.
To celebrate the launch, Xpress offers a 50% discount on first trips for new users of Xpress Moto and Xpress Car. Download the Xpress app today to experience the future of ridesharing.
