VICE President Leni Robredo shrugged off the claims of former Congressman Rolando Andaya by saying that she remains remains open to the idea of running for President in next year’s presidential elections.
She said that she will make a formal announcement at a much later time, citing her busy schedule with regard to her COVID-related outreach programs and projects.
The former congressman earlier hinted in a statement which categorically claimed that VP Leni will run for Camarines Sur governor in the 2022 polls, and has supposedly transferred her residence to meet the requirement for this post.
In a separate statement issued by Andaya shortly after what he was allegedly ambushed in Pili town, the former congressman said that he is not running for governor and is supporting Robredo’s gubernatorial bid.
