The NEMRPC of the CPP-NPA is tagged as responsible in a series of arson and sabotage incidents on industries and infrastructure in the Caraga region, mostly targeting business and construction companies that are the subject of extortion activities, the Chief PNP said.
The CPP-NPA NEMRPC figured in yet another incident of arson and sabotage on Thursday (July 15) at the CAGA 3 Platinum Groups of Metal Corporation (PGMC) Sitio Kinalablaban, Brgy. Cagdianao, Claver, Surigao del Norte when some 20 communist terrorists belonging to Guerilla Front 16 led by a certain Jacob burned six backhoe excavators of CKDI and Queens Contractors.
Eleazar said the arrest of Gomez and Velasco is the product of Case Operational Plan (COPLAN) “Tina” approved by PRO13 Regional Director, PBGen.
