AUTHORITIES in Bataan found a dead man’s body at the shoulder lane of Kilometer 136 + 900 along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) at Brgy. Maite, Hermosa, Bataan early Sunday morning.
It is believed that the man was a victim of an apparent summary executiion or “salvage” in street parlance.
According to a report from Hermosa Police chief, Police Major Emerson Coballes, the victim was about 5’6″ in height, and wore a white t-shirt, white shorts and brown Gucci belt.
The victim’s face was bloodied with cut marks at the head and face, hands and feet bound with packaging tape, and his mouth was stuffed with a piece of cloth.
Major Coballes suspects that the victim was killed in a different place and was dumped in that portion of SCTEX.
The police is now conducting a deeper investigation in order to determine the victim’s identity and motive for the crime.
