THE Supreme Court en banc asks the Senate, House of Representatives, including the House Secretary General, to comment on the petition filed by Vice President Sara Duterte with the court to nullify the 4th impeachment complaint filed against her.

In her Petition for Certiorari and Prohibition that was filed on February 18, VP Sara emphasized that the impeachment case thrown against her violated the prohibition against the filing of another impeachment complaint within one year.
Among the respondents were House Speaker Martin Romualdez, House Secretary General Reginald Velasco and Senate President Francis Escudero.
The High Court gave the respondents not less than 10 days to file their comments on the petition.
