RUSSIA— President. Vladimir Putin has isolated himself after he was surrounded by several people who were positive for COVID-19, according to the Kremlin on Tuesday.
Putin has tested negative for the virus and is healthy, Kremlin added. He received his vaccine against COVID-19 in March.
The Russian President has acknowledged and referred his situation on a call conference with his counterpart in the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, stating that the President should isolate himself for a certain period of time.
According to the Kremlin statement, Putin’s scheduled appointment for the incoming week will now be via video conference.
