A car driven by a pro-basketball player crashed into a concrete ‘Death March’ marker along the McArthur Highway in Barangay Mabuco, Hermosa, Bataan, Saturday night.
According to an initial report from Hermosa police, driver Mark Anthony Bringas, 32, avoided an overtaking motorcycle who was speeding at Kilometer 61 however he was no longer able to control the steering wheel of his Toyota Vios (NBQ-2577) and collided to the said marker.
Investigation shows the incident occurred at 8:40 in the evening while at the height of continuous rain downpours over the region.
Bringas is a professional basketball player who belongs to the Basilan Team of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).
