Police storm gambling den in Paranaque City, 3 operators nabbed

ELEMENTS of the Regional Special Operations Group-National Capital Region Police Office (RSOG-NCRPO) stormed a gambling den in Paranaque City where various gambling machines were confiscated.

The said operation also led to the arrest of three individuals believed to be the den’s operators, namely Evelyn Dador, 56, Erickson Albo, 41, and Arnold Martinez, 41, from Barangay Sitio Nazareth, Paranaque City.

According to Police Lt. Colonel Melvin Montante, RSOG personnel launched the operation on Sunday, November 29, at around 6:30 p.m. following a series of reports that the suspects were operating a gambling den at the area.  

Among those confiscated were two video karera machines and eight fruit games machines.

Current NCRPO Director Brig. General Vicente Danao Jr., emphasized that as the top cop in Metro Manila, his strict directives are to eliminate all forms of illegal gambling and illegal drug operations.

The suspects are facing charges of violating Presidential Decree 1602 or Anti-Illegal Gambling law.

“I commend the unwavering efforts of the elements of RSOG which resulted in the arrest of these three illegal gambling suspects and confiscation of ten illegal gambling machines. Once again, we have proven that the NCRPO Police are reliable, honest, courageous and caring for us. citizens,” Danao said.
