MALACAÑANG doesn’t seem to worry much over graft charges dragging Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Benjamin Diokno into a P1.75 billion contract for the rollout of the national ID system.
In a press briefing, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that Malacañang stands by Diokno whom he aptly described as a man of integrity.
“Naninindigan po tayo sa integridad ni Governor Diokno,” Roque said, adding that the BSP chief would be able to shed light on the issue.
