PAGCOR provides P3-million worth of relief aid to provinces hit by Typhoon Florita

MORE than P3 million in relief aid was already distributed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to several provinces badly hit by Typhoon Florita.

The PAGCOR quickly responded to the victims’ aid through its new leadership in order to provide much-needed assistance to typhoon victims through 6,000 food packs distributed to the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela, which were among those worst hit by the typhoon.

The provincial government of Cagayan thanked PAGCOR for the immediate assistance to the province, where an estimated P300 million worth of damage to livelihood was recorded, majority on the agriculture sector.  

The Isabela provincial government likewise thanked the state gaming agency for the relief aid it provided to the province, where a total of 43 barangays were damaged by typhoon Florita.
