THE Manila Police District (MPD) launched today what it calls its “S.A.F.E” (Seen, Appreciated, Felt and Extraordinary) Manila program.
The launch was led by Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna, who said that the city will be more peaceful with the way the MPD will guard the country’s capital city.
The SAFE program was conceptualized by the Philippine National Police (PNP) to strengthen police visibility in the streets.
Mayor Lacuna also expects a much-better coordination and relationship between the city government and the police.
MPD Director P/Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon also expressed the MPD’s gratitude to the city government for all its support to the police.
