P13-million worth of shabu, seized in Quezon City

More than P13-million worth of shabu were seized by joint operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in an anti-drug sting in Barangay Talipapa, Quezon City.

In a report submitted to Police Brig. General Ronnie Montejo, Director, QCPD, the apprehended suspects were identified as Jonathan Condeza alias Tantan, 41 and his live-in partner Maribel Salipot, 27, both residents of Barangay Bagong Barrio Caloocan City.

The couple were arrested at about 10:15 in the evening, September 22, at Home Land Subdivision, Barangay Tandang Sora.

The suspects were arrested after the team conducted buy-bust and bought two plastic bags of shabu.

Aside from the buy-bust money, two kilograms of shabu valued at Php13,600,000.00, a cellular phone and identification cards of the suspects were seized.

The suspects will be charged with violation of R.A. 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
