ONE died while two others were wounded when a Philippine National Police (PNP) helicopter crashed in a mountainous area in Purok Mayaog, Brgy. Pandan in Real, Quezon at 8:15 this morning.
Pat. Allen Noel Ona died while he was being treated of his wounds.
Two other wounded passengers, P/Lt. Col. Michael Milloria and co-pilot P/Lt. Col. Dexter Vitug were brought to the Claro M. Recto Memorial District Hospital in Infanta, Quezon for treatment.
It was learned from the PNP Air Group that the PNP helicopter, an Airbus H125 with registry number RP-9710, was bound for northern Quezon province on an administrative mission.
The PNP reported that the area in Real, Quezon was already experiencing rainy weather since last night.
