THE Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) yesterday approved the acceptance and recognition of the Philippine government of vaccination certificates coming from eight more countries.
According to Acting Presidential Spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, included in the list of eight countries whose vaccination certificates are recognized in the country are Egypt, Maldives, Palau, Albania, Estonia, Greece, Malta and Uruguay.
Nograles said this is for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols, as well as interzonal and intrazonal movement.
The eight countries are added to the list of other countries, territories and jurisdictions whose proofs of vaccination were earlier approved by the IATF.
With this, the Bureau of Quarantine, the Department of Transportation One-Stop Shop, and the Bureau of Immigration were ordered to recognize proofs of vaccination already approved by the IATF.
